We met the birth mother of our daughter using Parent Profiles early in 2012. We had eight months to build a relationship based on friendship and trust. We fell in love with her and her children, and in November our daughter was born.

Nine months later, we took a family holiday in Florida and another birth mother reached out to us. We flew across the country that evening and walked into the hospital: our second daughter had just been born!
