Alyssa, only five years old, came from a troubled home. She came to live with her relatives, Marilyn and Rob Bucy who truly became her parents. With great love for Alyssa, the couple began the adoption process. But Rob, a biker, left one weekend to join a group at the Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco. He had no way to know that a fight and a shootout would ensue. With other bikers, Rob was arrested and spent the next month in prison. The worst part was that Alyssa was taken from their home and placed in foster care with a family in California. All hopes of adopting Alyssa were taken from the Bucy family.
