The state of Colorado honored four foster families while celebrating Foster Care Awareness Month. The Foster Parent Recognition Luncheon was held recently at the Governor’s Mansion and the four recognized families included one family that has fostered 22 children, and another family who focuses on fostering children with special needs. All of the honored families are representative of the values sought after in foster parents: love, caring and dedication.
Each year to celebrate Foster Care Awareness Month, the state of Colorado seeks out exemplary families to honor.
