Sometimes adults just need to be told that they “don’t have to be perfect to be a perfect parent.” Truly, kids don’t need perfection. What they need are parents who care about them, love them, protect them and enjoy them.

With thousands of kids in foster care who will not be reunited with their biological families, what is really needed are parents who will step out of the comfort zone of insecurity and no-risk – then step into a confident role as someone who cares enough to provide love for children and youth in need.
