Kathy was adopted when she was only a few days old. Growing up, whenever she would ask about her birth mother, Kathy was told that she was dead. She had found her birth father, who also told her that her birth mother was dead.
She got a phone call not long after – a phone call telling Kathy about her mother. A reunion was set up and the two found each other. It is an emotional reunion as Kathy asks, “Is it really you?” Together, they get to know each other over the Thanksgiving holiday.
