This touching story of an adopted child coming to his mother’s aid during her battle with kidney disease is inspiring. Brought into the home as a foster child, Jordan’s birth mother wanted him placed in another family — an African American family or a biracial family. But thankfully, when he was four years old his adoption to Ingeborg McIntosh was finalized.

Just a year ago Ingeborg was diagnosed with poly cystic kidney disease and found herself in need of a kidney transplant. Jordan did the background work and found he was a match. Just before Mother’s Day, 2014, Ingeborg received a kidney from her adopted son.
