Foster Children Share What Living In Foster Care Means

If you’ve never been a foster child, you can’t know what it’s like. But these few heartfelt statements gives us a tiny glimpse. Being a foster child is scary, at the least. But it’s possible, through the efforts of good people with large hearts, for that fright to disappear and love to seep in.

“People just don’t understand how great the need is,” says one foster father. Where do these children go when they’re removed? If not to our home, where? Too often they are placed into group homes or bounced from place to place. Being a foster parents gives these innocent children a chance to live, to grow, to learn and to be loved.
