Sisters Abandoned Separately as Infants Meet After 50 Years

Both abandoned as infants, two sisters find each other after fifty years apart.  “Inside the box wrapped in a blanket was found a baby girl only a few days old,” reads Tammy Makrom of herself. Both girls were adopted to local families. Liz Kellner was found abandoned in a laundry room. After the women reunited they were able to find Patrolman, George Jannsen and met up with him in the same laundry room where Liz was found. The women connected after searching out their ancestry and finding their DNA matched.  “We just had that connection almost like twins,” reported Tammy.  Through continued research the women have been able to find their birth parents and other sisters as well as many cousins and other relatives in their extended biological family.
