Baby on Board–International Adoption

Have You Seen This?

Denalee Chapman February 06, 2015

This KEZ19TV report on adoptive parents shares one adoptive family’s amazing story. The couple featured chose international adoption, and they share the reasons why they chose the countries they did.

With the paperwork, home visits, and more required, it was a long process. It took one year for them to adopt their daughter, and a year-and-a-half for their son. But of course, it has been completely worth it. They are a family, and although where they come from doesn’t mean they don’t belong, they still recognize their culture as part of who they are.  And so their home — a symbol of international adoption — is filled with artwork from their children’s countries. Plans to revisit their birth places are being made.
