At a time when states throughout our country are doing all they can to recruit foster parents, Russell County in Alabama is happy to announce that they have had many families step up to help out. The county is at an all-time high when it comes to foster families. Although there are 100 children in foster care in the county, there are now 31 homes providing a safe place for these children. And more are getting certified. There are currently 17 couples being trained to become foster parents. Those who have previously been and currently are foster parents share the rewards of this service. Seeing children come home to a place they feel secure is great reward indeed!
