In 2013, Davion Only made a simple plea in front of a Florida church congregation. He said, “I’ll take anyone. Old or young, dad or mom, black, white, purple, I don’t care. And I would be really appreciative; the best I could be.”

Before this, Davion had been in foster care system. Connie Going who eventually became his adoptive mother helped arrange Davion’s plea to go public. The story of these two goes way back and now will continue forward for forever.

Since being adopted, Davion is thriving, feeling more secure than ever. While the road to adjusting may not had be smooth, he knows that there are people who care about his wellbeing and want him to succeed. It seems his plea was answered.
