Spence-Chapin is licensed and accredited nonprofit organization that has been offering quality adoption services for more than 100 years. Spence-Chapin promotes adoption & permanency as well as emotional health & wellness for all families. Our team of experienced social workers provide guidance, education and emotional support. We offer free monthly Adoption 101 webinars for prospective adoptive parents around the country to learn more about our domestic, special needs, and international adoption programs. We are proud to have adoption programs for married & unmarried couples, single men, single women, and LGBTQ parents. Our free, confidential, and unbiased pregnancy options counseling is available for all women and their partners in NYC metro area – this program offers support, information, and access to local resources. Spence-Chapin’s Modern Family Center provides birth parents, adoptive parents, and adoptees a supportive community and a connection to professionals who understand the unique aspects of adoption. Post-adoption services include counseling, parent coaching, teen mentorship, monthly events, and birthland trips. All services are offered through our offices in the New York City metro area, including New Jersey and Long Island. We’re a community that understand you and your family.
