Kim Wise of North Carolina has decided to start her family by way of adoption. She is a strong, single woman with a long-time love of children. There are many kids that need a caring home now, so she has decided it’s not necessary to wait any longer for a husband to make her dream of becoming mother come true.
A GoFundMe page has been created to help with the cost of the adoption. She has a heartfelt way to keep track of those contributing to her new family. Donations will be used to sponsor a puzzle piece. For any donation over $20, the name of the donor will be placed on the back of a puzzle piece. When the funds have been raised, the puzzle will be displayed in her home in a double-sided frame. It will serve as a reminder of all the people who made her adoption possible. Wise has chosen the Bible verse Jeremiah 29:11 for the front of the puzzle. The verse reads, “For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Wise worked for 20 years as a nanny before recently going to work for a preschool. The children she helped raise have always held a special place in her heart. They have stayed in touch over the years, and she has been proud to observe their birthdays and graduations with their families. Wise has always loved children and has an exceptional relationship with her 18 nieces and nephews. She loves spending time outdoors, whether it be at the beach or on the tennis court. Wise excitedly awaits the opportunity to make new memories with a child of her own. She is currently working with Angel Adoption Agency to get her family started. To donate, visit her GoFundMe page.
