i have found my b-mom and i have to say that hollywood could not have thought up such a storybook ending. all i could do when i first saw her, well after we hugged and cried, all i could do is stare at her face. she looked just like me! her words were like music to my ears. she thought and talked about me through all these years. even though all this time she knew me as my birth name, never knowing that my name was changed. we (adoptees) always wonder if she is thinking of us on our birthdays. her family(mom & dad) was always supportive, her husband has always known about me, and her kids found out during their teenage years. i still have more work to do. my b-dad is still out there. i have a name (richard dean III) and i know he attended kansas state university in the early 70's, and lived in hutchinson, ks. he only knew my b-mom was pregnant. she told him she would handle everything and she never heard from him again. he does not know if i am a boy or girl or even if i was aborted. i was born in feb. 1971. can anybody help? i have already purchased info from ussearch and intelius. i wonder if i should write a letter and send it out to all the addresses because i do not have phone #'s for all the listings. please help if you can or if you have any ideas on where else i can look. thanks.
