Is having a fundraiser tacky?????

Spaypets What is the difference between having a fundraiser for medical bills and for an adoption??? I haven't made my mind yet on the fundraiser but I am sure I am not the only one who had ever thought of it. By the way you didn't answer my questions from the previous post!
