I am an adoptee born in March 1973 in Albany, NY. My adoption was handled by Catholic Charities. I am in search of Birth parents/siblings. I do not know my birth mother's name (or birth father's either), but I am looking to find any family members. Please contact me if you think that you have any info relating to this. Thanks for your time, and any help that you may be able to give.
I dont know that much, I guess I am in the same boat as you. My mothers name is Elizabeth, I know her son was adopted out before she even gave birth so the adoptive parents were at the hospital at time of delivery. She said its really hard for her to remember anything. Besides it was through Catholic Charities and in Albany. Her paretns put her in a maternity home in albany through her pregnancy. Her maiden name is getman. You seem to be the closest match to who I am looking for but trying to find the details is hard. Do your birth parents know your looking, and or of any help. Anyways, let me know what you find out or any other info and I can run it by my mom and see if it sounds familiar.. Do you know your birth name?
Rusty I would really like to hear back from you. I am almost positive that my half brother was born in March of 1973, I think it was toward the end of March like around the 23rd. Anyways, please reply... Thanks

Hi Candy,
My husband received his birth certificate yesterday which revealed your mother’s name. I can’t beliebe how long you’ve been searching. I’m almost positive this is a match. Hope to hear back.
