Hello!AHHHHHHHHHH!! How do I even start?? Where do I go from here?? This is very overwhelming. I don't even know where to begin. I have browsed through the THOUSANDS of messages. What if I post and someone is searching for me--but miss it because there are just too many to wade through?? What are your suggestions? I am curious (and always have been) about my birth family. I consider my adoptive parents as "mom & dad". I am thankful to my ** for placing me up for adoption. I just feel this void/hole in my heart and feel like my BFamily is that missing link. I was adopted in Michigan........I was given the "non-identifying info". That only sparked my curiosity further. Well-you are starting at the right place. I can't give you any information, but you have got a lot more than most people I have talked to . You didn't say if it was a closed adoption and done through an agency? If it was done through an agency, then they would have the records. If it was done through the welfare department, then they would have the records and you need to find out how to go before the judge. I am a bmom who found her bdaughter by calling the agency I placed her through. Your story is a lot like my bdaughters. She always said something was missing but she couldn't explain the feeling. After we met, she said what was missing was me. You can't imagine the good feelings I had gotten from that. I would love to get an update on your search and what the agencies' have helped you with.
Take Care,
Teresa
