All the information that I can find leads me to believe that my name is James H. Cox. Only thing I know about my father for sure is that he lived in an eastern state and worked for a vet or so my non-ID info from the state tells me. There is an outside chance that my name is Roy Lammers. Two babies can be tracked to my birthday with public records that seem to vanish off the planet.
While digging through archives of "The Daily Record" which is the legal announcement newspaper in Jackson County, MO I found a vital records listing for James H. Cox born 6-16-65. His father is listed as Robert Howard Cox. That pretty much writes him off the list as being my birth name. No announcement was found for Roy Lammers nor were there any biracial babies listed from 6-16-65 thru the end of the year with that name, even though it appears in the birth index(or so I'm told),so my guess is that Roy Lammers was adopted and evidense of his birth concelled. That brings me back to Roy Lammers as being the most likely birth name for me.
