I love my adoptive parents BUT

I totally understand how you feel. I am adopted too I was born in El Salvador and was adopted during there brutal civil war. My family is awesome they loud...silly..very close Italian/Irish American family. I look Salvadoran but cook like an Italian lol I know my adopted family tree how all my great grandparents came through Ellis Island and my family is from Sicily and Naples...my grandfather use to tell me all the time your not spanish your Italian like me! I took great pride in that. So I know everything Italian! But nothing Salvadoran...there is a sence of loss I feel I was never discriminated against by family or family friends...surprisingly latinos lol don't vare for me because I look very latin but I'm too "white" ugh so I'v never felt I really fit in anywhete
