A very close friend of mine just discovered that she's pregnant...andreally doesn't feel that she can properly care for a child at this pointin her life. She is considering her options, and I'm not sure if adoptionis one of them at this point, but I am looking into it for her.The problem is, if she decided to keep the baby and adopt, she can'tafford all of the prenatal healthcare that she needs. Are there programsthat assist expecting mothers with their prenatal needs, if they adopttheir baby out? What is the process for this, and where can I get moreinformation?Thank you! :)

There are a lot of other options than getting involved with an adoption agency. Try the county health department. Also there are many states that have special medicaid programs for pregnant women (as well as special programs for children). If you need help pm me.
