Adoption Vs. Foster Vs. Guardianship

I'm just curious. I've already adopted my son and would never turn back on that decision...What has better financial perks - guardianship, foster, or adoption. I mean if we didn't have to think about the emotional aspect of the choices... Do children have better chances to get scholarships for college if they are adopted or foster kids? Do they have more access to aid of other kind? I mean how do the KIDS benefit (NOT emotionally) from the different choices? Or do they? Perhaps it's all the same.Does anyone have any thoughts? I know that the adoption payments are usually less than the reimbursements from foster care... What about guardianship? Ect.
