I would be interested in talking to anyone who may have been a resident at the Salvation Army Booth Memorial home for unwed mothers/maternity home in 1962 in Chicago, Illinois.
From About June of 62 until Mid December of 62, my husbands birth mother stayed there while she was "away". She delivered at S.A. Booth Memorial Hospital in December.
She is deceased since 1973 and there is no one that can be found that knew her during the time she was pregnant or at the time she surrendered her baby.
Would like to know if there is anyone who may have known her while she was there, would love to talk with anyone who may have known her. Or would also be happy just hearing of some of the experiences from other mothers that were there around that time. Thank you all for being here and for all your support. It is so appreciated!
