Dancing Banana and Other Images

Sass or Brandy, I have a technical question.Let's say I want to use the dancing banana on my blog.It is found at <img src="http://forums.adoption.com/images/smilies/banana.gif" alt="" title="Banana" smilieid="49" class="inlineimg" border="0">Can I use the hosted image? Or should I download it and then upload it to the blog site?Hosted images can really draw down a server. I have seen servers taken down by it. But if the adoptionblogs server is part of the same farm..Until you reply I will go ahead and download/upload.Thanks...
