Okay... I have a 37 pound 2 year old. He has a nice size belly. My problem is that I can't find anything to keep him from peeing through his diapers at night. I have tried overnights, pullups, diaper inserts in his regular diapers, and many other brands of diapers. It seems that because he is roundish I have to get the bigger diapers, but then he has leak areas. At night he sleeps on his belly and this seems to cause all the leaking in the front. This has been a problem for all his life. :eyebrows:
Any new suggestions out there?
Thanks much.
Hmmm...have you tried putting those plastic training pants over his diaper? Maybe that would help some. Another suggestion would be to limit his fluid intake when it's close to bed time....I have to do this for myself otherwise I'm up and down all night going to the potty...LOL!

Great advise! I have to do this with my eight year old son so that he doesn't wet his bed at night.
I was going to try the plastic pants over his diaper.
Instead I bought some diaper pullons called Overnights.
They are for bigger kids but they fit my son all around,up, and over his belly. That is where he needed it. So far three nights with no puddle in the middle of the crib. :laundry: Hopefull I will have less laundry now.
The only thing that worked for us (our monster is a 20 mo old, 30 pounder, lovely Santa-like belly) so far has been the Huggies Overnights. Size 5, which I think is technically the size according to his weight anyway. Before, we kept trying to use his daytime Pampers, but a size larger....
I was just looking at the plastic pants today and the cotton training pants and debated about buying some, but we're doing okay w/ the overnights... However, I think I"ll get a pair of each, just to be prepared for the future! Who knows when he'll need seomthing else!
Oh, and we also limit the intake in the evenings, and I think that helps

That is it.."lovely Santa like belly." I could never think of a cute way to describe his belly. I am stealing your words.
I have tried the huggie overnights but I have a hard time finding the 6 size. Not many stores carry them.
So far so good with the overnight pullups. I haven't had a leaky night yet. I will use them for now. They are expensive but I only use one a night. I don't have to wash his sheets and pajamas every day. His room doesn't smell like pee anymore. Yeah!!!!
My son is a skinny but tall 4.5 year old who was trained at 2 years, but apprently is a bedwetter. The older he got, the harder it was to keep him dry at nite. Tried them all, till we found 'Goodnites'...they have been a God send!
