I was born Dec. 1 1970 in Birmingham at the Salvation Army Home for unwed Mothers, also looking for birthmother/siblings. I just received non-identifying info from DHR in Alabama. I have a half brother born in 1972 there who was adopted also, but I believe it was in August. Read my info and see if any of it matches. Good luck.
