Good morning! I am new to these forums and just beginning the adoption process with my husband for our first child. I have enjoyed reading these discussion boards. It is great because I have come across some things I don't think I would have ever thought about on my own.
I have been looking for some sort of prayer for the birthparent or family that we may end up working with. There are so many beautiful prayers out there - I just can't seem to find them! Does anybody have something they can share?
Thanks!

As a birthmom, I often turn to Our Lady for help and guidance. She has always answered my prayers for my son, every single one. (I also offer regular prayers up to St. Joseph for my son's parents.) I especially turn to Our Lady when I'm struggling with grief and other bmom issues...She is a refuge for me.
When I first joined up on the forums here, I found a touching thread about how this amom regularly offered prayers to Our Lady, as well as to St. Anne, on behalf of her children's birthmothers.

I am new to this side of the forum. Usually post in the Foster to Adopt section. However, I have adopted one already and thought I would check over here. So, back to the original question. My daughter and I pray for her birth family every night. I found that as long as I pray from my heart, God provides the proper words.
