Twins Ruth and Ruby

My grandmother (born 1905 died 1973) lived in Tucker County, West Virginia, she had many children and had a very hard time caring for them. She took her twin baby girls, Ruth and Ruby, to town one day and came back without them. She said they died but we believe she gave them up for adoption. They would have been born probably in the 1940's, but it could have been the 30's or 50's. In the 1980's there was an ad in the Wood County WV, newspaper where twins Ruth and Ruby were looking for their birth family. I was told that these women looked like my father and his siblings, yet nobody in my family contacted these women. I never saw the article I only heard about it later. If anyone knows of elderly twins, Ruth and Ruby, who most likely live in or around Parkersburg, West Virginia. Please contact me lifesjourney @ hotmail . com
