I am adopted and have recently found my birth father. I found out around Christmas from my Father's wife that his brother is really my dad. Gary the one that i found and brother are totally confusing me and demanding a DNA test. Gary's brother said that he signhed Gary's name to the adoption records. I was wondering is that legal or is my whole adoption a fraud? Could really use some help?:thanks: please email me at natalitrent@ymail.com

Nicole, People lie, closed adoptions contain lies, people do stupid things when the are scared, etc. You have met your birth father/uncle and they appear to be trying to be truthful, be thankful for that at least. Doing a dna test will tell you which of the two men is your father and which is the uncle, I would be estatic to have that opportunity...do the test but require the three of you to be tested, that way the results will tell you the truth, whatever it may be.
