Now that Mother's Day has come and gone...what was your favorite thing about it? What was your best present or thing that you did to celebrate?

Hubby and I hung out and did yard work together. It was a beautiful day for that too....just the right temps and lots of sunshine! :flower:
I thought Mother's Day was going to be a horrible day seeing as it is my first one without my son. But I slept in, got a giftcard from my dad, and everyone told me happy mother's day. and then dad took us all to lunch. I even got to talk to my boyfriend who is now at Officer Training for the Army.
My brothers, sister, dad and everyone pitched in to get my Mom something REALLY awesome and special this year. She LOVED it! We're usually not big on huge presents, but this one meant a lot to her, so that was very cool :)
My little sister, the one who is parenting her daughter and has been known to throw it in my face, wished me a happy mothers day. Doesn't sound like much but it was.

Being asked about SE by my sister-in-law. I cried but I can't remember my own family ever really asking about her.
