Does anyone know about the Hong Kong 2000 reunion for 1960's adoptees? It was apparently conducted by HK International Social Services.
I would love to meet other adoptees from Hong Kong especially during Chinese New Years 2010.

Hello Ripples,
Bless your heart! I really hope the HK rep in Australia knows.
I just got some acknowledgement from the HK Social Welfare Dept but don't know whether anything will come of it.
I've resigned that if ISS doesn't support me, if I just connect with a couple of HK adoptees of the 1960's in HK during the Chinese New Years 2010 time, I'd be happy.

Try also Chinese Adoptee Links - I think the founder of it, Jennifer, is organising a 2nd reunion of Chinese/Hong Kong adoptees in 2010. Here's what I've read: "Recently a HK adoptee in Jordan named LUCINDA contacted us at CAL (Chinese Adoptes Links) International. Lucinda would like to initiate a "2nd HK Adoptee Reunion" in 2010 (following the first gathering in 2000). Lucinda has posted info about this on our CAL Facebook site." I'm not sure if you're the same Lucinda mentioned in the excerpt, but just in case you're not, I'm posting this info.
