I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience adopting my son through A Baby Step Adoption. This agency is special in that it is small--your name is known from day one. The case workers are very friendly and call / email in a timely manner. I had a few legal questions, and everyone in the Reading main office was equally kind and helpful. Being that I adopted as a single parent, I thought my wait time would be longer than that of a married couple. However, I was pleasantly surprised to be matched with a baby within 1 week of completing my case study. Many people complain that agencies charge numerous and expensive fees. I found my financial experience to be positive. Every dollar that I spent was served a specified purpose, and my total cost from beginning to end was less than $25,000. I would highly recommend this agency to anyone.
