Info on adopting Grandbabies on our own asap

I am hoping for some information on doing most of the adoption steps on my own. We are wanting to adopt our grandbabies and there is no problem with the parents consent. What steps do we need to follow? Where do we get the information packets? We do have a time crunch on this and do not want to miss our chance.

I would for sure call an adoption attorney. They would be able to point you in the right direction. I don't know that I would do it myself... there are alot of steps that could be forgotten ..
