emergency foster care

my wife and i are thinking about doing emergency foster care. we were thinking about doing teens and we both work full time. any advice or just general info that we should be aware of or look out for? things like how long are they usually with people, etc.. thanks just wanted to hear from people in the same state as us.... thanks

I don't have experience with emergency foster care. Just wanted to suggest posting your question in the foster care & adoption forum. Some of the folks there do emergency placements and could give you feedback. Good luck! :)
