Our first placement left yesterday. Today I got a call asking if I would take 2 little girls. I did not expect to get a placement within 24 hours. CW said the kids were removed because mom cannot financially provide. There are no family members suitable. I am thinking finanical sounds like longer term care. What would you think? (She probably can't change her financial state overnight, right?)

I have too gotten a placement 24 hours later. It is a nice little break to be just "your" family. However when that next little one comes you are glad that they are there!!!! Financial to me means no job, being homeless, kicked out of their home due to other issues that you haven't heard about yet!!! Have a great time!!
