i received a call for a placement this past friday and brought home a then 2 day old little boy. when we took the training class on the new invoicing system, i was under the impression we would now get info sheets on the children at time of pick up.
with this little guy we got nothing, lol. no paperwork, nada....in fact the only reason i know his name is because of the homefinder. just curious if that has been anyone else's experience, especially considering we will be sending off invoices this week.
in either case he sure is a cutie.:prop:
We got our great-nephew a little over 4 weeks ago. We also picked him up at the hospital. His caseworker came out the next morning. I asked her the same thing and even got the form out to show her. She said that the ICWIS form was the form she had to fill out to turn into the office not to us. Luckily she had written down the case number and person id on post-it notes inside his medical passport. Ask his case manager for those numbers.

Since I was sitting next to you...I will confirm yes they did tell us that! SHOCKING :evilgrin: he didn't come with all that info!!
Good luck getting it by Wednesday!
We've had many placements since the new invoicing system but have only received the info sheet less than a handful of times. I normally email the case manager to touch base with them and let them know I have the child, any concerns from the weekend and ask for the necessary information. This has worked for us. Even when the case manager comes we usually don't get the actual icwis info sheet but the normal placement card and the medical passport.
We got our placements last month on the 27th, a Saturday. They came with nothing. I got the info for the invoice on Tuesday. I never did get an official form, just a handwritten paper with the numbers on it. (I did get a letter stating they were in my care for doctor's and such.)
