My DH and I are just starting to look into adoption we have been married a little over a year. He has two bio-kids (teens) and we are looking to adopt a toddler-10 yr old girl. The kids seem open to the adoption, talk about what age and seem excited. My SD even posted it on her facebook already..eeeek.., we have them every other week and at this point I am wondering how this may effect them and the one we adopt. My skids are pretty laid back and easy going and seem to adapt to things easily, I just want to get some feedback as to what we may not be seeing that will come up adding a full-timer to our house while they go back and forth. Also is there a waiting period for newly weds in Texas? I have heard it is 2 years.
