I need any help I can get concerning finding my birth daughter. It's a long story, but I had my daughter adopted in 1976...I have blocked out the exact date due to not coping well at the time of adoption. My records were lost in a fire some 20 yrs ago, and being adopted thru the Catholic Church the records are sealed. I have tried numerous times thru the years to aquire the birth date, contact the adoptive parents, and work with the adoption agency with no avail as I am told that a birthdate is identifying information.?? I am currently very frustrated and am looking for help as I normally don't do forums. Please if anyone has advice I am willing to listen! Thank you!

Kristina, Thank you for your reply! My birth daughter was born in Richmond, Va. thru Catholic Family Services of Norfolk in 1976 or 1977. I think maybe in the late summer or early fall. Do you think this time frame and place might match you?? I have been trying to find her for 30 + years to no avail...Possibly brown/blonde hair, blue eyes?? Thanks, Bob
