Don't be afraid to get a second opinion when a search angel tells you something

I'm extremely appreciative of the help search angels give and very sensitive about not wasting their time. Having said that, keep in mind that search angels are human and can occasionally make mistakes. Not often, but sometimes. If you hit a wall on something, get a second look...a second opinion. One searcher was kind enough to search a record and told me with confidence that I wasn't on it. I decided it was important enough to ask a different person, who gave me the exact opposite...with proof. I felt bad, even guilty about asking someone else, almost as if I was negating the first searcher. But in this case it was a very good thing I did. Just make sure you don't have two people doing things simultaneously. If you have a doubt, ask someone else only after you've concluded with the other search angel. There's too much at stake with your search to let an innocent oversight end it.
