single mom considering adoption for my two year old

My area has voluntary foster care -- the mom/dad voluntarily puts the child into foster care for 30 days, and they are set up with mental health services, parenting classes, etc. Maybe you could do that? If you're not sure about adoption, I would go that route rather than contacting adoption agencies.
