Hello, I'm very new to this as my partner and i have only just started talking about adoption. We both have dual citizenship (him - Aussie and British, myself- Aussie and Italian). Because of the waiting period here in Oz I'm wondering if it would be more time efficient to go back to Europe and apply there, but I'm not sure how this would impact visa requirements for the baby if we were to be successful. We currently live in Australia. Has anybody adopted while abroad? Also, I'd be interested to know what criteria they use for turning people down- ie health reasons. Has anyone had any experience relating to this? Thank you
