I am a biological sister searching for my younger brother born in January of 1973. He was most likely adopted in Missouri, since we lived there between 1974 and 1978. However, he might have been adopted in Nebraska or Kansas. He was around 2 years old when he was given up. It was an illegal adoption so records had to be falsified. He may not have any accurate information, except year of birth. The following are places my brother may have been adopted: Columbia, MO. Lincoln, NE. St. Louis, MO. Kansas City, MO. Jefferson City, MO. Emporia, KS. We lived in Columbia, MO for 4 1/2 years. I was 6 and older brother was 7 years old, when he was adopted. Mother was pregnant with youngest brother. Father was a graduate student at the University of Missouri. I have missed him all my life.

Updating my info: I've gotten new information that my younger brother was most likely sold on the black market in Emporia, Kansas during the summer of 1974. He has brown, curly hair, brown eyes and a sun-loving complexion. He was born on January 27, 1973.

I just wanted to update everyone on my search. Yesterday, my search ended for my younger brother. I remembered that my younger brother was murdered by my father, in an act of rage. My parents covered it up. Because I had begun searching for my adopted sons, I assumed the disappearance of my brother meant that he was sold on the black market.Now, I can grieve, heal and focus on searching for my 2 sons.Thank you. I'm searching for my niece and nephew that were adopted by a Manhattan, NY couple... Jordan Savanna Lee (niece) was 4 (almost 5)* (DOB: 7/26/97) and Zachary Frederick Austin (nephew) was 3 (DOB: 1/2/99) the time of adoption (the first week of March 2002). Their last name at birth was Evans, born in Cape Girardeau, MO to Michael Eugene Evans, Jr. (DOB: 2/28/78) and Sylvia Jean 'Jeanie' (Ward) Evans (DOB: 8/2/79). Both had blonde hair and blue eyes. Zachary has a scar on his abdomen from surgery for Pyloric Stenosis when he was an infant. We believe they were adopted by a John (architect) and Johanna (freelance photographer) in Manhattan, NY. The adoption took place through a lawyer in Arkansas. We know they were placed in private school once in NY after being adopted. The adoption happened in Rogers, Arkansas (Benton County), the adoption firm was Kelly Law Firm and the lawyer was Eugene Kelly. Looking for any and all leads possible!
