A month ago I had to pick up some meds for my FS and, as usual, I just show the pharmacist the Medical Card and off we go...no charge. Just this past Sunday I picked up the exact same meds (refill) and the pharmacist charged me. Did something change with Medical? Are caregivers now responsible for paying for a "co-pay" or for meds?

We picked up some RXs for our new foster-adopt kids this week and the tech said, "IEHP is medical (no drug benefit) only....but I will check it anyways". He checked it and low and behold, the meds were covered. So maybe they assumed the same but didn't bother checking unlike our tech. There are various benefit levels for Medi-Cal/IEHP, some 100% coverage, some have co-pays, etc. As far as I am aware it is 100% coverage for foster children.
