I need to know

My angle (my wife) has kept telling me to keep searching & I would find help, and low and behold here you are. I kept thinking I was alone or that only the mothers have rights. I was in jail when my ex-wife abandoned my 2 kids and they (the State) told me I had no rights to know anything about them. I had no chance to find them a home with relatives. So now they are over 21 and I just want to know they are ok. How do I do that??
