Open Records

I am 100% for open records on all sides. It's an equal justice under the law issue for me and I see no reason that adoptees should be treated any differently than anyone else with regards to legal proceedings in which they were the subject, original birth certificates and all other possible government-issued documents. Frankly I was shocked when I joined this site and learned that adult adoptees aren't permitted this information. It's insulting and smacks of discrimination.
