Is there ANYONE else on here going through SJ County? If so, how is it going for you? I am starting to get paranoid. We have been waiting two years and one month for a concurrent placement. We are also open to straight foster and have had one short term placement where we fully supported RU and had a pleasant experience.
Why only ONE placement in over two years? Is it us? Is it everyone in this county?
Thank you for any information.
Well, I think it is all over. I am from Sacramento and under an agency and not county. I am on the list for 3 years and got 1 baby for just 1.5 months last Sept. and she had to go back to the GP's. Well, 4 months after she left, I had no other foster's.
I am doing concurrent planning, emergency intake, special needs, and age 0-4 years old.
I was thinking about switching to county, but I am so afraid that it is going to take another 2-3 years to get a child. :hissy:

Crazy as it may be to say, that makes me feel better. I just want to know if I am being discriminated against or something. If it is slow a half hour north of me (I am in Lodi), then maybe it is not me.
