You need to contact the court that heard the adoption and request any and all copies of records that you are entitled to under the law. Also make sure they give you the non ID info on your birthparents. Sometimes there is a lead on those papers.

do u know any info on your birth parents or what hospital

I am searcging for a half brother born in st.louis I know they change dates on b.c.,s so sometimes but I would like to know which hospital u were born in or I can give u some tips,thank you tricia

Hi Tricia, The birth certificate only states Richmond Heights, but as far as I can tell St Mary's is the only hospital there. All the information I have on my birth mother I received from Catholic Charities... The pregnancy was an accident, her father was a policeman in St Louis and had died of a heart related condition. I had an uncle with downs syndrome not sure if it was maternal or paternal.. My mother was said to have red hair, was raised Catholic and was of Irish decent. My birth father was not in the picture , I only have a vague description of 6 foot tall, thin and of German decent. Any information or tips you have would be greatly appreciated. I'm also in St. Louis and was also adopted through Catholic Charities and have recently reunited with my bio-family. What you should do is contact Tom Fellin over at Good Shepard Children and Family Services. His number is 314-854-5728. He is in charge of "Inquiries regarding previous adoptions" and will get the ball rolling. He will most likely either contact or put you in contact with Mary Blancett over at the Family Courts. Make a call to Tom and you will be able to begin the process. Good luck and be patient, but persistent. :cool:

thank you mr yuk for that information,,,michael i dont know if you could be my brother or not but i was told it was at st.johns hospital i dont know if the address would be richmond heights or not my mothers dad did die of a heart attack but he wasnt a police officer he was in the navy,,the father of my half brother was not in the picture and i think he was just a donor,,you can also contact jefferson city ive tried but siblings have no rights in missouri,,my mother was 18 when she had her son but had already had me and was forced to give him up by her parents,,idk what else to say ,i will try contacting the gentleman that mr. yuk suggested but i like i said dont have much authority in missouri but adoptees do,,please good luck and keep in touch im trying to get extra clues on this subject,,please in case u are my brother thank you tricia marie
