tarrant county waiting

We just moved to Tarrant county from a smaller area. We have been back on the openings list for a week now. Our worker told us that stay at home moms in tarrant county willing to take newborns pretty much never go more than a week without getting new placements. Well here we are 8 days later..... No calls. What are your experiences in tarrant county? In our old area we waited 3 to 5 weeks.
