We are working on completing our dossier and I was wodnering how long couples who adopted from Ukraine stayed there. Did both of you stay the whole time? What was your experience like? What do you recommend taking with us?

We were in Ukraine 34 days total. That included a week to do a separation hearing, an extra 4 days because the head of the SDA was on vacation when we needed our referral signed, and we stayed in Ukraine during the 10 day waiting period. Our adoption went very smoothly earlier this year.
