Our now 15 yr old only girl is driving us insane with her need for a boyfriend. She goes through them one at a time and they are mostly "virtual". She has constant contact on the phone or texting, but never really sees the boy. She always finds out that they have a physical girlfriend that she did not know about and is devastated. We did not want her to start this early, but it seems that all of her girlfriends have a "boyfriend". Her therapists have also been working with her, but we see no progress. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any advice on how to deal with it?:hissy: Bucks County Family

Not experiencing as a parent, but did experience as a teenager and do as a professional. It's totally normal. I'd actually say she's waited a lot longer than most kids to start on that craze. Most of the girls I see get boy crazy a couple years earlier. I'm not sure there's much to do besides offer her emotional support, provide supervision, help her make good choices, and ride it out.
