Just wondering if you folks would be able to shed some light on my question: My Niece would like my Wife and I to adopt her baby.. Which we are thrilled to do.. She has no idea who the baby's father is.. And we want to give this unborn child a loving home. Is there going to be any major issues as there is with a regular adoption? thanks so much. Danny~

That's a huge question...I can tell you our relative adoption of our niece's son was a disaster. And after the adoption failed, it has created some terrible tension in the family. But others have had some wonderful adoptions come from relative adoptions. I think a lot will depend on your niece. What issues are you concerned with exactly? That may help answer your question!
